OLIVER
JOHN V. DADIVAS is a promising young visual
artist from Antipolo City, Philippines. He was born in Manila
on May 27, 1990. He is now a freshman college student who
has participated and won an award and recognitions in various
on-the-spot art competitions and exhibitions namely:

His recently awarded art
work entitled "Unity Thru Sports" is now included
in the collection of the Philippine Postal Museum and Philatelic
Library while one more of his remarkable art piece is also
a part of the collection of the Makati Museum (Museo ng Makati).
He
was chosen by the Philippine-Austrian Cultural Society
together with his mother, impressionist artist Luz
Verceles Dadivas and UP College of Fine
Arts Dean Nestor O. Vinluan to exhibit in their Christmas
Art Show at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
In this event, he was given an on-the-spot recognition and
his work was personally chosen and acquired by the Austrian
ambassador, His Excellency Herbert Jager.
This young talented artist
who has self-taught himself the visual arts is desirous to
learn and achieve more.
Aside form visual arts, he
has trained in martial arts and currently he is studying cullinary
arts. He now also helps in teaching arts to children. |

A piece of a series of
this artwork was enjoyably acquired by Atenean executive
musician Hector Sanvictores during the opening of
Heavens, Earth and Blooms a summer art exhibit
held at the Hollywood and Tahiti outlets of the Seven Suites
Hotel & Observatory in Antipolo City last May 14 -June
12, 2006 when it was spotted by his artist son, Julius Sanvictores
for their modern personal collection.
Austronesian
is one of Oliver's youthful versions of a cross-cultural
modern art with a pre-historic origin and aboriginal influence.
